Good to know

Questions, answered.

What is the difference between Hydrating B5 and H.A. Intensifier?
Hydrating B5 is a light, oil-free serum with vitamin B5 and hyaluronic acid that adds moisture under your cream. H.A. Intensifier Multi-Glycan is a richer serum with hyaluronic acid and proxylane, aimed at skin that also looks less plump with age. Both go on before moisturiser.
Do I need a serum and a moisturiser?
They do different jobs. A hydrating serum adds water to the skin. A moisturiser such as Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 or Emollience helps to keep it there. Dry or dehydrated skin usually benefits from both.
Which moisturiser suits dry skin best?
Triple Lipid Restore 2:4:2 is the richest option, with ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids, and suits normal, dry and ageing skin. Emollience suits normal and dry skin. Daily Moisture is lighter and suits normal to oily skin.
What does the 2:4:2 in Triple Lipid Restore mean?
It is the percentage of each barrier lipid in the cream: 2% ceramides, 4% cholesterol and 2% fatty acids.
Are these products genuine SkinCeuticals?
